DG200R-ARACD2-1 - Direction

Postby jaypee4528 » Fri Jul 27, 2018 3:37 am

Hello

I am using a DG200R-ARACD2-1 which i control via Modbus TCP using a communicator. This means that I am unable to send a negative step-signal to the motor. So at the moment, all positions are given as a positiv, and results in CCW rotation.

I was hoping to solve my problem by changing the parametre "Motor Rotation direction". But with "Positive Direction=CCW" and with "Positive Direction=CW" the result of a positive stepcommand is always CCW.

Any ideas?

Best Regards Jes Peter

Hi Jes Peter,

When you changed the Motor Rotation direction did you change it using the MEXE02 software or by writing to register 0385h? When you send a move command over Modbus are you doing absolute movements or incremental?

Hello

I have changed the Parametre via Modbus and the register 0385h.

I have tried both both inc and abs, both result in CCW move with the same step command.

Best Regards Jes Peter

Once you wrote 0 to register 0385h you have to save the parameter change to the non-volatile memory. The register for the non-volatile memory is 0191h where you write a 1 to save the change. When you complete the writing to the non-volatile memory cycle the power of the driver.
