FE100/FE200 Multi-Axis Control

Postby jllennard » Tue Aug 28, 2012 4:57 pm

Hi, I've read in the FE100 / FE200 brochure about configuring these inverters for "multi-axis control mode in which multiple motors can be controlled from a single inverter".
"For details, contact your nearest Oriental Motor office."

Can you please advise how many motors can be connected to the one inverter ?

The inquiry is for connecting 2 x 15 watt motors, to a either a FE100S or FE100C inverter. The concept behind the project is to have 1 (inverter) and 2 (two) motors running at the same speed for a 2 x belts on conveyor for transferring small chocolate candy bars in food production facility.
Does it depend on the total motor load for all motors connected to the FE100??

Regards, Lindsay

I think it's a good idea.
