Allen Bradley 525 VFD used on 51K40VKEST

Post by RONMOORE007 » Fri Apr 03, 2020 9:43 am

I have a 51K40VKEST motor I would like to drive with an Allen Bradley 525 VFD. It will spin the motor but will not start it. It just lays and hums unliess a spin to the shaft to start it turning. Is there any special parameters needed? Allen-Bradley 25B-D2P3N104 is the drive.
Is there an Orientalmotor drive that will spin this motor and use ethernet I/P?

Your current VFD is rated for 380-480VAC this motor should only be used with VFDs rated for 240 VAC or lower. Using it with higher input voltage VFDs may cause the insulation of the motor windings to deteriorate, leading to damage to the motor. The compatible VFD we offer is a FUJI VFD but does not offer Ethernet IP communication only Modbus RTU RS-485. Some parameters you can check on your current VFD is the motor power and current match the motor. ... erters-vfd
