PKP Series, with Encoder

Post by Mr.Thota » Mon Aug 02, 2021 7:27 am

Hi !!
one of our projects, we would like to consider the below models.
PKP223D15A2-R2EL + CVD215B-K + CCM070V2AAF + CC030E1R

Indeed, we are looking for an encoder cable up to 7 meters (total), so please let us know whether it would be possible to use a 7 Mtrs cable ??

Please advise, how to go ahead ??

Hi !!
Awaiting your valued confirmation, the customer machine and control panel distance is around 7 meters, so we required 7 meters length of cables.

Please suggest proceeding further in this matter.

Hello,

For the PKP223D15A2-R2EL motor the longest encoder cable we offer is the CC030E1R 3m cable. If you wish to make your own cable reference the encoder manual below with the connector information.

Hi !!
How are you & your family !!

Thankyou for your reply !!
Finally, we would like to use 3 meters cable for the encoder only.

Regarding I/O and driver DC Input cables we are required to use up to 5 Mtrs, will it be recommendable to use up to 5 mtrs length ??

Also please send us a detailed wiring diagram for this encoder model: PKP223D15A2-R2EL + CVD215B-K, since we are very new to the encoder models of stepper motors with pulse signals input.

Please do the favorable!!

Take care !!
Thanking you !!

Hello,

For for the distance between the driver and I/O we recommend to keep it less than 2 m (6.6 ft) to suppress the effect of noise. This is reference in the driver manual on page 9. The encoder would not be wired up to the driver it will have to be wired to the PLC. The second link below is the wiring for the encoder.
