CRK Stored Program Controller Motion Creator Software

Hi

i purchased the CRK series stepping motor and installed the MEXE02 software which came with the motor, and used it, it works well, but now we are going to develop our own control program, i have discovered the sample code and downloaded the CRK motion creator software program, but now the problem is the software cannot connect the stepping motor driver (CRD507-KD), so can anyone help?

The answer to your question is quite simple. The MEXE02 software works with the CRD507-KD driver/controller that you have. The Motion Creator program that you downloaded is for a different driver/controller part #, CRD507-KP.

Both products use RS-485 as their communication protocol, but the "language" is different.

firstly thank you for your reply

i am new for this motor, and follows RS485 communication modbus protocol shown in the instruction manuals, i try my code, it still not working, so currently i have two problem:
1. i made one rs485 cable with rj45 connector and db9 female connector in each end, with my pc, i have installed moxa card which gives 4 serial ports with db9 connector,i am not sure my wiring is correct or not? so anyboy can help to check?
rj45 db9
2 GND to 5 GND
3 TR+ to 8 tx+
6 TR- to 2 tx-
by the way i an using 2 wires connection

and sw2 setting from 1 to 4 is off, off, off, on
sw1 set to 1
sw3 set to on

2.any one can help to generate a sample code to perform a absolute move? thank you

Are the moxa card outputs RS-485?

Can you give me the moxa card part #?

What baud rate are you using?
