Q: What are the differences between the BLE Flex series and BLE standard series? They're about the same price.
A: The BLE Flex series is offered with promotional prices at this moment. This is why they're about the same price as the BLE standard series. For a limited time, you will be able to purchase the BLE Flex series models with the built-in RS-485 controller for no additional cost.
One difference is that the BLE Flex series drivers do not offer internal potentiometers to control speed, acceleration or deceleration times, so if you want to use analog speed control instead of programming speeds digitally with the MEXE02 GUI software or OPX-2A hand-held data setter, you'll have to feed an analog signal externally by connecting an external potentiometer or feed our driver with a 0-10VDC analog signal. Acceleration and deceleration times will also need to be programmed digitally.
Please see the differences in connections and switches between the BLE Flex series and standard series drivers.
BLE STANDARD SERIES:
BLE FLEX SERIES:
Both the BLE standard or Flex series drivers will offer extended functions such as torque-limiting when the optional MEXE02 GUI software or OPX-2A portable data setter is used.
For the BLE Flex series, we do not offer a package model with a 3 meter motor cable included (like the BLE standard series) on our website. They are available. If you need a package with motor cable included, please consult with our technical support staff.
