Performance Comparison: PK223PDA vs PKP223D15A-L?

Q: I'm trying to replace my old PK223PDA motor to the new PKP223D15A-L motor. However, I'm seeing differences in their performance on the speed torque curves. Why would there be any performance differences if the PKP223D15A-L motor is a direct replacement of the PK223PDA motor?

A: The PKP223D15A-L motor is a direct replacement of the PK223PDA motor with the LC2B06A cable. The motors themselves should have the same performance. The PK223PDA motor's speed torque curve was generated with the RBD215A-K driver from our RBK series so the speed torque characteristics are slightly better. If you want the performance of the PK223PDA motor according to its torque speed curve, you should purchase the RBK223PA motor/driver package model which includes the PK223PDA motor and the RBD215A-K driver, or add an RBK series driver to your existing motor.
